Nurse-call & IP infrastructure

Know every nurse-call server is up — without opening a port.

iSite Monitor runs inside your network and reports outward. Live health for every IP-connected device, email alerts the moment something moves, and scheduled cloud backups of the databases you cannot afford to lose.

About iSite Monitor

One place to watch everything on the device network

iSite Monitor is a single platform for monitoring and managing the IP-connected equipment your clinical systems depend on. It slots into the infrastructure you already have and keeps watch over every device on it.

There is nothing to expose. The agent needs an internet connection and nothing else — no port forwarding, no inbound tunnel, no new perimeter rule for your security team to sign off.

Capabilities

What it does once it is running

Four jobs, handled continuously, so nobody has to remember to check.

Automatic backups

Critical databases back up to the cloud on a schedule you set, so a failed server becomes an inconvenience instead of an incident.

Real-time monitoring

CPU, memory, disk usage, network interfaces and firewall status, reported continuously. Email alerts land the moment a threshold trips.

Endpoint management

Licence enforcement keeps the monitored device count inside your approved endpoint cap — no surprise overages, no manual auditing.

Maintenance & auto start

Switch on maintenance mode and configure automatic startup from remote controls, so planned work never wakes anybody up.

How it works

Three steps, and no change to your perimeter

  1. Install on the host

Put the agent on a machine that already sits on the device network. An Intel i3 with 2 GB of RAM and 1 GB of free disk is enough.

  2. It dials out

The agent opens its own connection outward to iSite. Nothing listens for inbound traffic, so there is no new firewall rule and no exposed port.

  3. You get told

Device health appears on your dashboard and alerts arrive by email. Backups run to schedule in the background without supervision.

Why teams run it

Fewer surprises, and an architecture security will actually approve

Most monitoring products ask you to make an exception at the firewall. This one does not, which is usually the difference between a project that ships and a project that stalls in review.

  • Centralised oversightEvery monitored device in one view, so problems get found by looking rather than by waiting for a phone call.
  • Security that survives reviewLicence handling and backups are managed for you, and nothing about the deployment widens your attack surface.
  • Alerts shaped to your operationCustomisable alerting and reporting built around how your team actually works, not a fixed vendor template.

Requirements

If it can run a browser, it can run this

The agent is deliberately light. It is meant to live on hardware that is already in the rack, not to justify a new server purchase.
